Jared Goff will be getting some more screen time this year.
The Detroit Lions MVP finalist is one of three passers who will be featured in Season 2 of the popular Netflix series, “Quarterback.”
Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals and Kirk Cousins of the Atlanta Falcons also star in the show, which will be released in July and document the lives of all three players as they navigate the 2024 season.
This past year, Goff led the Lions to a 15-2 regular-season record, a second consecutive division title and the NFC’s No. 1 seed after signing a four-year, $212 million contract extension in May 2024. He did so while setting career-high marks for touchdowns (37), completion rate (72.4%), and yards-per-attempt (8.6). However, Goff authored one of his worst performances of the season in the Lions’ NFC divisional round defeat to the Washington Commanders in January, throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble.
While Goff and Burrow will make their debuts in the latest season of “Quarterback,” Cousins was one of the stars in Season 1, which also spotlighted the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota. Mariota, a backup with the Commanders, played for the Falcons at the time.
