Both the Chicago Bulls and the Phoenix Suns are on steep downward trajectories heading into their game.
The Bulls have lost five on the trot and do not seem to be particularly focused on winning, having traded Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings. On the other hand, the Suns are on a four-game losing streak.
The Suns’ season has dissolved into a bit of a mess. Not too long ago, they were trying to elevate themselves into Championship contention by trading for Jimmy Butler.
They were not able to engineer a deal though and the Miami Heat ended up trading Butler to the Golden State Warriors, who are 4-1 with the 35-year-old in their team.
Rumors suggest that the Suns were even open to the idea of trading Kevin Durant ahead of the deadline. That has led to suggestions that this could be his last season in Phoenix.
For now, the focus has to be on the current season though. Durant has had his fair share of fitness issues this season. Will he be available against the Bulls?
According to Gerald Bourguet, Cody Martin and Jalen Bridges remain out for the Suns’ game tomorrow against the Bulls. No one else is on the injury report.
So, it looks like Durant will be lining up for the Suns when they take on the Bulls, as one losing streak is guaranteed to come to an end.
The Bulls narrowly lost to the New York Knicks in their last outing, taking the game into overtime. Hopefully, they will go one step further and get one in the wins column against the Suns.
