The Baltimore Ravens have always been known for a crippling defense and excellent special teams, but in 2024, it was their offense that was beyond impressive.
The Ravens finished the regular season with the No. 1 offense in the NFL, averaging more than 426 yards per game.
Last offseason, the Ravens made the move to acquire RB Derrick Henry, and the former Titans ball-carrier and NFL Offensive Player of the Year proved to be a massive addition for Baltimore.
Instead of defenses coming up with a game plan to limit Lamar Jackson as a runner and make him beat them through the air, opponents now had to focus on accounting for both Jackson and Henry as running threats at any moment, while still making sure not to get beat over the top in the passing game.
The result? Jackson and Henry both put up monster years as ball-carriers and the Ravens QB posted one of his best statistical seasons as a passer, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 41 touchdowns.
Zay Flowers emerged as a true No. 1 WR in 2024, earning Pro Bowl honors for the first time. The tight end duo of Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely was almost impossible for defenses to stop.
The Ravens are set to bring most of their key offensive weapons back in 2025 — and with OC Todd Monken getting an extension after the season — there’s no reason to believe the Baltimore offense should slow down next season.
But Bleacher Report believes the Ravens will still make an aggressive move to add a new weapon this offseason and trade for WR Davante Adams from the New York Jets.
