United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Rams today announced the opening of registration for WalkUnitedLA: United for Our Future, to be held at the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on Sunday, July 20, 2025. The proceeds from WalkUnitedLA 2025 will benefit recovery efforts from the devastation caused by the Eaton and Palisades wildfires and United Way’s life-changing initiatives focused on pathways for low-income students, families and communities to thrive.
Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, will serve as the honorary chairs for the annual family-friendly fundraising walk/run, open for registration starting today, Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at WalkUnitedLA.org.
“For nearly two decades, WalkUnitedLA has become one of LA’s main fundraising events, where thousands of Angelenos come together to lift up those in need. This year, our mission is even more urgent as we strive to help our neighbors who have lost everything to the wildfires rebuild their homes and lives,” said Elise Buik, President & CEO of United Way of Greater Los Angeles. “Holding this event for the first-time ever at the Rose Bowl helps us demonstrate our much-needed support and stand in solidarity with those who continue to be directly impacted, including nearby Altadena.”
The Rams have been a long-time marquee sponsor of WalkUnitedLA. “We are excited to continue our partnership with United Way of Greater Los Angeles and demonstrate the power of teamwork in service to our community,” said Los Angeles Rams President Kevin Demoff. “We are grateful to Matthew and Kelly Stafford for leading this year’s effort and helping to bring LA Together during such a critical period of recovery for the Los Angeles region.” Demoff also serves on the board of directors for United Way of Greater Los Angeles.
